OTH Regensburg was founded in 1971 as a college of engineering, business studies and social services. Today it is one of the largest and research-intensive universities in Bavaria. The Institute of Applied Research and Partnership with Industry (IAFW) acts as an umbrella organization and is the principal point of contact for all research activities of OTH Regensburg. It will besides the involved PIs, faculties and OTH researchers serve as a guide and supporter for incoming and outgoing secondees.
OTH Regensburg has a particular strong standing in digital skills and digital technology development which is underpinned by the team of Professors and labs contributing to MAIA.
