Organization

University of Ljubljana (UL) is the oldest, largest and internationally best-ranked university in Slovenia, included among the top 500 universities according to the ARWU Shanghai ranking and among the top 3% according to the Financial Times’ ranking. The university was established in 1919 and encompasses 23 faculties and 3 art academies. An integral part of the University of Ljubljana involved in this project will be the University of Ljubljana, School of Economics and Business (FELU). It is the leading higher education institution in business and economics in Slovenia and is the only school in Central and Eastern Europe to have been awarded the EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA international accreditations, thereby joining the elite group of Triple Crown schools. This achievement ranks it among the top 1% of business and economics schools in the world. FELU is also a member of Strategic Research Innovation Partnership – SRIP MOBILITY – ACS+. The second integrated part is Faculty for Social Work (ULFSD). Its research contributes to fundamental social values and objectives such as: quality of life for individuals, families and groups; social justice, dignity and equal opportunity; solidarity and social integration; anti-poverty efforts and social exclusion, and the ageing challenges.
